Safeguarding

Our commitment

Go and Tell Ministries is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk. We believe everyone has the right to be safe and treated with dignity and respect.

We will take all safeguarding concerns seriously and respond appropriately.

What we mean by safeguarding

Safeguarding means taking action to protect people from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. This includes creating safer environments, following good practice, and acting quickly when concerns are raised.

Our approach

We aim to:

  • provide a safe environment for everyone we work with
  • make sure volunteers and team members understand acceptable behaviour
  • follow safer recruitment and supervision practices where relevant
  • respond to concerns promptly, sensitively, and in line with the law
  • work with statutory agencies (police/social services) when required
